Disaster Restoration and Mould Remediation
Inspections and Reports
It all begins with a full premises inspection, compiling photos and moisture readings using the latest moisture detection equipment and Infrared technology. We Determine the extent of damage or contamination as well as the cause of any moisture or contamination found and a suitable recommendation to prevent the return of any contamination after treatment.
Mould Remediation
Treatment Process
Our treatment process consists of running negative air filtration devices during the treatment. This helps to remove any airborne contamination during treatment. We then complete a surface treatment to all contamination found including walls, ceilings and contents.
Fogging Treatment
We complete our treatments with a full house fogging treatment, This eliminates all remaining airborne contamination and odours associated with mould contamination. We use a non toxic product that evaporates in the atmosphere so it doesn’t leave a residue and is safe to re-enter your property after the fogging treatment time is complete.
Flood & Fire Restoration
We have spent many years developing our restoration model, using the latest moisture identifying tools to not only determine the extent of damage but to compile the most detailed reports ensuring nothing is overlooked.
Quite often a restoration technician is first on the scene when a flood event has occurred, A Make Safe is carried out and once reporting is completed, water extraction is quite often required prior to Structural Drying.
Our drying process is efficient and cost effective using state of the art equipment and regular moisture monitoring to ensure the drying process is completed without unnecessary over drying or excessive equipment charges.
Upon completion of the structural drying any further damages are noted and any flooring is re-assessed to determine if it is salvageable or requires replacement. These findings are then compiled into a final report along with an Inventory List of any non salvageable contents items.
In some cases a mould inspection report is required if there is the possibility of mould contamination in the wall or ceiling cavities, or in the flooring or crawl space below.
If contamination is suspected then inspection holes and removal of wall and ceiling linings are usually the only option to remove contamination.
With the flooding events of Feb 2022 The Maleny Group was quick to adjust to the overwhelming devastation the flood event had caused, Quickly adapting to the insurance requirements along with the requirements of PRV inspections, full house strip out cleaning and structural drying.
